CONSTRUCTION OF LIQUID FUEL SYSTEM (EPC) OF SIRAJGANJ 150 MW PEAKING POWER PLANT
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The main objective of the Project is to facilitate dual fuel supply using HSD as an alternate fuel in case of non-availability of natural gas to 150 MW Shirajganj Peaking Power Plant.
The Project, called Liquid Fuel system, will be executed on EPC basis in the vicinity of 150MW Shirajganj Peaking Power plant situated on the west side of Jamuna Multi-Purpose bridge.
The main features of the Project are Design, Supply and Construct/Erect/ Install the following-
- HSD Unloading Facility near Bangabandhu West Railway Station unloading HSD from Railway Wagons.
- HSD Transport Pumping Station with HSD 3.2 Km Long Underground Transport Line to Power Plant Area.
- 2x 5 million Capacity HSD Bulk Storage API-650 designed Tanks and 1x 1 million capacity HSD Day API-650 designed Tank.
- Transfer Pumping facility to transfer HSD from Storage Tanks to Day tank.
- Fire-Water Protection & fighting system incl. Fire & Gas Detection with ESD System.
- Plant Control & Supervisory DCS system.
Testing, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, star-up and Performance Guarantee Run.
SCOPE OF WORK
Under international competitive bidding, Agmor Consortium and Pegasus International was awarded the contract for the Project Management Consultancy Services from FEED to Commissioning & Start-up of the System. The consulting services started from 17th November, 2010.
The Scope of Services includes -
- Survey, Prepare Route Map of underground HSD Transport Pipeline from Bangabandhu West Railway Station to new Power plant.
- Preparation of FEED and Conceptual Design of HSD Liquid Fuel System, as back up to Gas Fuel system, for 150 MW Sirajganj Peaking Power Plant.
- Preparation of Technical Specification and Bidding Documentations.
- Assist in Technical Bid Evaluation.
- Construction Supervision.
- Witness the Testing, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up and Performance Run.
Issue Facility Handover Certificate.
