SHAHBAZPUR GAS FIELD APPRAISAL & DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Shahbazpur Gas Field lies in the Bhola District in the South part of Bangladesh. The object of the project was to appraise and further develop Shahbazpur to enhance production capacity to supply gas to a proposed 150 MW power plant at Bhola and to Bhola township. The development comprised of the procurement and installation of 40(20+20) MMSCFD capacity Glycol (TEG) Dehydration Type Gas Process Plant, 1000BBL Condensate Tank, Flowline, Inlet Metering, Flare Burn Pit and 2 x (320-350) KW Generators.


SCOPE OF WORK

Agmor Consortium and Pegasus International were awarded PMC and Design Engineering of the surface facilities of the Shahbazpur Gas Field by BAPEX. The scope of responsibilities included detailed field survey and soils assessment of the plant site, preparation of preliminary design and specification of the Glycol Dehydration Process Plant, Condensate Tank, Flowline, Burn Pit and Generators. Project activities covered Hazards Evaluation and Environmental Impact Assessment Mitigating Measures and Safety Procedures. Other activities comprised of :
